The Great British Bake Off
The Great British Bake off are looking for next years amateur bakers, filming starts in Feb 2012 but you need to enter now.
From what I’ve seen of the spectacular baking that’s gone on in all the cake club events that have been held this year, I reckon you should all at least give it a try. I did in 2010 and managed to get t0 the audition stage, but no further.
If you do enter, keep us posted so we can cheer you on.

Love baking, but tv really doesn’t appeal to me. Good luck to all others!

You have to be one brave baker to go on GBBO – I’m too much of a cowardy custard, but I love watching it.

Hello all I’m new here…. lovely to meet some fellow bakers!

Hello, another newbie here. My best friend keeps telling me I should audition for GBBO! Yes, I make nice cakes and things but I only follow recipes – not clever enough to make them up myself!

I’d love to know more about the bake club. Is there one in brighton?

There is a group for Brighton and Hove click on the ‘clubs’ tab and search for Brighton and Hove. Someone was going to create a CCC there but nothing came of it, if you fancy creating a CCC in Brighton, read this and then get in touch. http://clandestinecakeclub.co.uk/organise-a-clandestine-cake-club/

hello, another newbie, love to watch GBBO but that is a bit too much of a challenge for me! I think I’ll stick to a less pressured baking time.

Hi Ally
You are a little too late for this years entry, perhaps next time. I and other CCC members have met Paul Hollywood and he is very nice indeed.

Hello,
How often does the Edinburgh club meet? I would love to attend an event and wonder whether it is a month thing and at what time of day they meet?
