Men Who Bake
November 7, 2011 2:26 pm in Features by Lynn Hill - Founder of Clandestine Cake Club
There appears to be more women who bake than men, but from what I see at the CCC – Leeds events and a few of the other Clandestine Cake Clubs, we have a handful of very talented men bakers. But there must be more of you out there.

Bar the odd dalliance with a cake tin (much improvisation – may not be up to competition standard for the cake club on the 22nd…) my gentleman caller, JT, is the only one who cooks, bakes and creates in the kitchen. Very scrummy food.

I do bake. I have also a blog post with a cake in it. On my hard disk there are some photos of cakes as well.

Haven’t made a cake yet but am quite good at making my daily bread, well t least like it! New to this at the age of 60+. I certainly need help, just joined the Croydon Group today. I’ve always enjoyed the eating but have never baked a cake so I’ve decided to jump in with both feet!
