Theme
Let them eat cake
As this is our first meet in Reading please bake what ever cake you like, bring along your signature cake, a new creation you want to show off, a childhood classic, and every day favourite, your guilty pleasure or something you made up on the day
Date
Tuesday 21st February, 7pm – 9pm
Venue
For our inaugural event we will be meeting across the road from the main train station in Reading, at a place well known for it’s vintage charm. Here we can buy some rich Italian coffees and other beverages to enjoy with our cakes. Exact location details will be given nearer the time.
Book a place
If you as a baker/and a non baking guest (one guest per baker, please indicate when booking) want to attend this event, please complete the contact form below with an indication of the cake you will bake.
Allow 24 hrs for confirmation of your booking. Your place/places are not guaranteed until you receive this email.
Points to remember. Each cake must be large enough to slice into around 8 – 12 good slices. Sorry, but No cupcakes, Muffins, Brownies, Cookies, Pies or Tarts.
Home-bakers and professional bakers can join in. It’s not a competition, no judging, just a lot of fun. And you get to take cake home.
