Shape It Up at Henley

Bank Holiday Tuesday may have been a little damp and wet. But we still celebrated in style with the second Henley Clandestine Cake Club meeting. We had cakes of all shapes and size. A great effort was made by all, never before have I see a golden pyramid, a Percy Pig, a giant strawberry, a plate of lemons, a crown, a flower, a giant cupcake, a bejewelled crown, a heart and a ring doughnut shaped cake all on one table.
We met at the Beer Tree in Henley, I must say a big thank you to the venue as they were very friendly. Nobody tried the hundreds of beers on offer with their cakes, but we may have to do a bake with beverages for one meeting inspired by the lovely Beer Tree.
Thank you to everyone who came and we look forward to the next one.
