All cakes are delicious be it a coffee and walnut, marble, red velvet, chocolate or vanilla sponge but its the decoration that invites us all to make that slice extra large and go back for another and another!
Make your favourite cake and practice your decorative and decorating techniques, flavours, tastes and textures.
Or maybe try a technique or icing you've never made before- go on face your fear of water icing, ganache, fondant, buttercream or mashmallow.
We are also having a Professional cake decorater demonstrate a few cake decorating techniques ready for our Christmas Cakes to us at this event

Refreshments provided -tea, coffee, squash available alongside savoury snacks
Price of £5 per person attending to pay for room hire, drinks and of course the demonstration - a bargain!!!

Points to remember
- Each cake must be large enough to slice into around 8 – 12 good slices.
- Sorry, but NO cupcakes, Muffins, Brownies, Cookies, Pies or Tarts.
- Home-bakers, professional bakers and men can join in. It's not a competition, no judging, just a lot of fun. And you get to take cake home.
- A baker can bring a guest but you must indicate this at the time of booking
