Be inspired by wonderful picturesque Weardale a glorious beautiful area right here on our doorsteps ....
Maybe it'll be the people, the characters you meet, the wildlife, the local produce, the views, the River Wear, family holidays or trips, school days, hobbies and past-times or local produce.

Bake a cake, bring a mate and share in all the glorious baking gossip.
All cakes are displayed and then demolished by everyone- any you don't get to try you take home-yum!
There is no judging or competition just cake eating enjoyment

Venue: Stanhope
Additional venue info: A super secret location in Stanhope in the heart of Weardale.
There is parking close by
Non- alcoholic refreshments will be available and maybe some savoury nibbles when the cake overload gets too much- There will be a small charge for all bakers and guests to cover this.
Children are welcome at this event either as bakers or guests.
This venue has a level entrance and is accessible for wheelchairs/buggies/prams.

- Are you bringing a guest, if so what is their name
- What cake are you bringing, you can decide later.
Points to remember
- Each cake must be large enough to slice into around 8 – 12 good slices.
- Sorry, but NO cupcakes, Muffins, Brownies, Cookies, Pies or Tarts.
- Home-bakers, professional bakers and men can join in. It's not a competition, no judging, just a lot of fun. And you get to take cake home.
- A baker can bring a guest but you must indicate this at the time of booking
