“We're all going on a summer holiday. No more working for a week or two. Fun and laughter on a summer holiday.”
The exams are over, schools are breaking up, TT week has been and gone – summer is well and truly here and it’s time to get ready for the holidays. So, this month, use your imagination to create a cake that represents your perfect "Summer Holiday".
Would it be sun, sea and sand, on the Isle of Man or further afield? Would it be a tour of European cultural highlights or adventure and exploration in the States? Would it be a cottage in the Cotwolds or a beach hut on an exotic tropical isle?
Whatever your choice, your cake will be your ticket to the “fun and laughter” at the Isle of Man’s fifth CCC event!
Venue: Douglas, Isle of Man
Additional venue info: We will be back in Douglas, this time in a truly unique venue, perfect as the starting point for our “Summer Holiday”. Coffee, tea and soft drinks will be available to purchase on the night.

To book a place, please contact Amanda Woodward amanda.woodward@manx.net with the following information:
  • Details of the event you are booking for
  • Are you bringing a guest, if so what is their name
  • What cake are you bringing, you can decide later.

Points to remember

  • Each cake must be large enough to slice into around 8 – 12 good slices.
  • Sorry, but NO cupcakes, Muffins, Brownies, Cookies, Pies or Tarts.
  • Home-bakers, professional bakers and men can join in. It's not a competition, no judging, just a lot of fun. And you get to take cake home.
  • A baker can bring a guest but you must indicate this at the time of booking
