Oxford – Olympic medal winning cakes!

Theme: Olympic medal winning cakes!
Olympic fever is sweeping the nation so it seemed like the perfect theme for our first CCC meeting. Your cake could take inspiration from the countries entering the Olympics, the sporting events themselves or simply bake a cake which you think is fabulous and deserving of a medal!

Venue: Cumnor, Oxford, OX2
Additional venue info: As this is the first meeting of our new group and I know we are all keen to get baking I will hold the meeting in my home.

I will email full address details to you with your booking confirmation. Perhaps we can decide at our first meeting if we would like to look for a venue to hold meetings at in the future or if we would prefer to take turns hosting at our homes.

  • Details of the event you are booking for
  • Are you bringing a guest, if so what is their name
  • What cake are you bringing, you can decide later.

Additional event info:

I will provide tea and coffee to have with our cakes however if people fancy anything stronger please feel free to bring along a bottle!

Points to remember

  • Each cake must be large enough to slice into around 8 – 12 good slices.
  • Sorry, but NO cupcakes, Muffins, Brownies, Cookies, Pies or Tarts.
  • Home-bakers, professional bakers and men can join in. It's not a competition, no judging, just a lot of fun. And you get to take cake home.
  • A baker can bring a guest but you must indicate this at the time of booking
