York – As Good as Chocolate ** Event now full**

I couldn't risk insulting our kind hosts by saying Better than Chocolate, but this month's theme is all about the flavours you think are just as good as chocolate. I'm thinking ginger cakes, coffee cakes, battenburgs, lemon drizzle cakes... come along and show us what you can bake that is 'As Good As Chocolate'
Venue: Central York
Additional venue info: Our host is opening especially for us where we can buy some delicious refreshments to go with our cakes. If you are a lover of chocolate, bring some extra pennies as well. If you came to the last event, you will know what I mean.

  • Details of the event you are booking for
  • Are you bringing a guest, if so what is their name
  • What cake are you bringing, you can decide later.

This event is limited to 30 places. If you'd like to bring along the recipe for your cake they're always appreciated at CCC events.

Points to remember

  • Each cake must be large enough to slice into around 8 – 12 good slices.
  • Sorry, but NO cupcakes, Muffins, Brownies, Cookies, Pies or Tarts.
  • Home-bakers, professional bakers and men can join in. It's not a competition, no judging, just a lot of fun. And you get to take cake home.
  • A baker can bring a guest but you must indicate this at the time of booking
