York – Olympia Fever ***Now Full***

There's no escaping the Olympia Fever descending, so I couldn't resist having an Olympia theme for our July event.

To mix things up a little I will draw a country out of a hat with each Baker place, it's up to you how you choose to incorporate that allocated country into your cake - use the country to inspire the type of cake, the decoration of the cake or even the ingredients of the cake. In allocating a country we all end up doing something different - I can't wait to see what we all come up with!

In the interests of being fair I will run a poll and let the York group decide which country my cake should be themed to!

Additional venue info: Our host is opening especially for us where we can buy some delicious refreshments to go with our cakes.

If you are a lover of chocolate, bring some extra pennies as well. If you came to the last event, you will know what I mean.

This event is limited to 30 places.

Points to remember

  • Each cake must be large enough to slice into around 8 – 12 good slices.
  • Sorry, but NO cupcakes, Muffins, Brownies, Cookies, Pies or Tarts.
  • Home-bakers, professional bakers and men can join in. It's not a competition, no judging, just a lot of fun. And you get to take cake home.
  • A baker can bring a guest but you must indicate this at the time of booking
