Newcastle upon Tyne, Here comes the sun

April 13, 2013 7:30 pm in New events, Newcastle Upon Tyne by Lisa Vincent

Date: 13/05/13 - this is a MONDAY
Time: 6pm – 8pm
Theme: Here comes the sun – bake a cake to welcome the sun, whether it’s a cake that tastes of summer, looks like summer or reminds you of summer (a summery cocktail, one you’d take to a barbeque, or just love making and eating when it’s sunny).  Hope that gives you enough ideas to go on…

Venue: The venue is outside the city centre (a 15 min walk) located in the Ouseburn/Biscuit Factory area (but not the Biscuit Factory, sorry). The nearest metro is Manors plus a walk and there’s parking nearby, I’ll make sure I include a walking map in the joining instructions (& organise a walking-bus for those who are walking from city-centre locations)
Additional venue info: The venue is a cool urban cafe, selling food and a range of soft drinks, a great selection of coffees and teas and alcohol for those who like a tipple with their cake, remember to bring money for drinks to support our hosts!
