Leeds Central

Never knowingly under-baked.

  • John Lewis - Victoria Gate - Leeds

The John Lewis Flagship store in Oxford opened in 1864 with their most recent store opening in Leeds in October 2016. Famous for their
slogan 'Never Knowingly Undersold', let's create a cake that you are proud of.

Perhaps it's a Victoria Sponge or Yorkshire Tea Loaf, that you proudly present for a weekend afternoon tea or a showstopper of a cake for a special occasion.

The choice is yours.

Additional info

This is a unique and special invitation from John Lewis at their newly opened (October 2016) store in the Victoria Gate Shopping Centre Leeds. With five wonderfully inviting floors to brows around, two cafes and a state of the art cookery demonstration area, where shall we be meeting? That's the clandestine bit about CCC.

Our meeting point will be revealed on Monday 8th May, only to those who have booked a place.

Refreshments will be available to purchase. You can also take advantage of the time scale and arrive early, have something to eat at their restaurant 'The Place to Eat - located on the Fourth Floor or The Café by Benugo located on the First Floor. You can then join us for tea and cake at 5pm.

There are lifts, stairs and escalators to all floors. Facilities and Services details are here

* Please bring your cake on a suitable cake stand or plate.
* If you have your own cake cutting knife, please bring that too. Remember to add a label with your name on.
* If you are bringing a guest and they also want to bake a cake to bring with them, please indicate this at the time of booking. Or update later.
* There will be no waiting list once all the places have been filled, so keep checking back for cancelations. Get in there quickly once you see a vacant slot.
