Cakes with a tipple - alcoholic or not

  • In Selby town centre.

Our theme for this event is cakes made with a tipple. Your cake could be made with an alcoholic tipple or you could use a different type of drink. This could be a coffee cake where you could add Tia Maria or a splash of Baileys Irish cream to your coffee; chai latte cake, elderflower cake, fruit cake with whisky or whiskey! Chocolate cake with Guiness or chocolate malt cake using Ovaltine or Horlicks. I have read about cakes made with Dr Pepper or Fanta although never baked one of these. Perhaps one of you will give it a go.
This event is planned for an evening as a few people have expressed interest in an evening event. We can then have an afternoon event once again later in the year but before summer.

Additional info

The venue is in the town centre and parking is not available out side the venue but it is only a five minute walk from town centre car parks. The venue will inspire your baking!
